My name is Karate Bear and ever since I was a little cub, I've been teaching myself things. Teddy bears don't get to go to school in most cases, so I've been on my own for learning about the world. I read all kind of books, but mostly novels, literature and history. But now I'm stuck working a customer service job.
...and I hate it.
I've decided to things into my own hands again. I'm go teach myself skills so that I can get a different job. The world is changing fast and computers and technology are at the center of this change. So I aim to learn software development.
I don't have the money right now to afford classes. But there are so many free resources online to get started at least. It's going to be a lot of baby steps, but hopefully they will be in the right direction.

I'm going to be writing about the things I learned, the resources I used to learn them and how the overall journey is going.
